General Data Protection Regulation
implemented with effect from 25th May 2018

This page contains information about how the school complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the table below contains links to the relevant documents, policies and procedures which are shared with staff, parents and the wider community.

The GDPR is Europe's new framework for data protection laws it replaces the previous 1995 data protection directive, which current UK law is based upon. The legislation is designed to harmonise data privacy laws across Europe as well as give greater protection and rights to individuals. It comes into effect on 25th May 2018.
